Theta Phi Alpha was founded at the University of Michigan--Ann Arbor in 1912 and established at Missouri Valley College in 1993 as the Beta Chi Chapter.  Theta Phi Alpha was founded on Catholic principles and a commitment to scholarship and service.  Currently 40 women belong to the "Ever Loyal, Ever Lasting" sisterhood of Theta Phi Alpha.  The women of Theta Phi Alpha are actively involved in numerous activities on campus and in the Marshall community some of which include Girl Scouts of America, Camp Friendship, Run for Reagan, and various contributions to local domestic violence centers as well as 30 different organizations on campus.Theta Phi Alpha has been the reciepent of the Missouri Valley College President's Cup in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2011, as well as winning Membership Recruitment Awards, Service Awards and Scholarship Awards.
